• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button to begin.
    • Select the gear button to open the game’s audio settings. Use the sliders to increase or decrease the volumes of the game’s music and sound effects.

  • Basic rules
    • Mechanics
      • Select and hold to aim, then release to fire.
      • Watch the pale gray arc onscreen. This indicates the path the arrow will take.
    • Objectives
      • Hit the fruits above the characters’ heads.
        • Hitting the fruit at the center will grant you a bonus.
        • You gain no points if you miss. Try again.
      • Don’t overshoot or, worse, hit people from below the apple.
      • Shoot as many arrows from the heads of the people as you can.
      • As the game progresses, the people start standing on top of rocks.
        • At first, the rocks stay in place.
        • Later, the rocks start to move up or down.
    • Streaks
      • Shooting 2 or more fruits in a row will begin the fire arrow streak.
        • When this begins, your arrow comes aflame.
        • Streaks reset each time you miss a fruit or hit a character.
      • Keep track of your streak on the indicator at the upper row.
      • After successfully shooting 5 flaming arrows, you gain an extra arrow to shoot.
        • Keep track of your flaming arrow shots on the top right corner.
        • your flaming arrow hit counter does not reset unless you use the fourth arrow.
        • When you gain the fourth extra arrow you can only use it once, meaning if you take more than 3 arrows to hit a fruit you will only have 3 arrows for the remaining rounds.
  • Scoring
    • Each fruit you hit is worth 5 points.
    • Hit the fruit exactly at its center grants you 5 times the points you would normally receive.
    • Hitting a fruit with a flaming arrow gives twice the number of points per hit.
    • The flame and center features multiply off each other, meaning a flaming arrow in the center is worth 50 pints.
    • You can view your current score in the upper left corner and your all-time best score at the end of the game.
  • Lives
    • You start with a limited number lives, which are represented by arrows.
      • Each time you miss or hit the other characters, you lose an arrow.
      • If you lose all arrows, the game ends.
    • Each time you shoot successfully, your arrows are replenished.
    • You can get an extra arrow by shooting a flaming arrow 5 times.
  • Tips
    • Early rounds have a stationary target. As you advance through the rounds the targets move & move faster. Thus it is important to get a streak early in the game & maximize your score before the game gets harder.
    • You lose the fourth & final arrow the first time you use it, so be sure that if you miss twice you try to aim with precision on the third arrow so you keep the fourth arrow for later.
    • It helps to time your aim based on the movement patterns of the targets. You can start your aim when the target is near the top or the bottom of the cycle and then adjust subsequent shots to offset mistimed aim.
    • When you start aiming your shot rises until you release. You can’t lower your aim on the same shot, so make sure you do not initiate the sequence until you are ready to shoot the arrow.
