Surveillance video captured a burglary crew brazenly using an electric saw while attempting to smash their way into a pharmacy in Los Feliz. Early Wednesday morning, three suspects targeted R&D Pharmacy located on Franklin Avenue at around 4 a.m.
They were seen using an electric saw and crowbar to shatter the store’s glass entrance before sawing into the metal gate behind it. The pharmacy’s owner, Roselyn Roque, said this was the second time her pharmacy had been targeted in just three weeks.

Authorities in one Southern California community are urging residents to inspect the areas around their homes after the discovery of a hidden camera earlier this week. Alhambra police officers responded to a call of an attempted burglary in the 1900 block of S. Primrose Avenue on Monday night.
“The victim's neighbor found a hidden camera in the bushes pointing toward their home,” police said in a social media post that included a photo of the device. It was concealed in a green shell and surrounded by leaves.

A family is seeking answers from law enforcement following the death of one of their loved ones at a jail in Los Angeles County.Relatives of the man, identified as 43-year-old Eugene Youngblood, held a news conference Wednesday morning with their attorney to shed light on what they say is an unexplained death.On June 5, Youngblood was arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies for an alleged low-level misdemeanor and was transported to the Lancaster Jail, and according to the family's lawyer, the 43-year-old was just to receive a citation and then be released.
