Legal Assistant

Temporary

An awesome midsize firm in Moorestown NJ, is looking for an experienced person to assist the attorneys. Qualified persons will be expected to provide the support needed for the timely, accurate completion and handling of documents, e-filing of in-state and federal filings, calendaring, and assistance in discovery.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Providing transactional legal support, preferably in Litigation/Bankruptcy (non-Consumer)
  • Detailed oriented
  • Formatting legal documents
  • Calendaring of court dates, due dates and reminders
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and completing documents
  • Keeping track of attorney time records and billing
  • Electronic filing - Bankruptcy, District Court and Superior Court (ECF & NJ ECourts)
  • Strong organizational skills

Qualifications:

  • Outlook
  • Experience with iManage document management system
  • Experience with TABS billing system
  • E-filing, uploading files to third party sites

Job Type: Full-time - 35 hours a week

Hourly Wage: $25 per hour and negotiable
